# Cook Children#s Health Care System is seeking a Delegation/Credentials Coordinator to join our team! This position is responsible for managing the process of delegated credentialing for Cook Children#s Health Care System therefore we are looking for someone with extensive credential experience and preferably experience with delegation credentialing. Hours: M-F 8am-4:30pm Responsibilities Include: Coordinate and facilitate the credentialing processes for Cook Children#s Physician Network and Cook Children#s Health Plan in accordance with Cook Children#s Credentialing Procedures and Quality Management Manual and the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) guidelines. Report results of audits and distributing reports to appropriate CCHCS entities. Manage the Organizational and Facility Credentialing for Cook Children#s Health Plan. Coordinate and facilitate the Credentialing/Re-credentialing process for Cook Children# Health Care System which includes communication with insurance organizations, managed care organizations, healthcare delivery systems regulatory organizations, and providers. Required Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years# experience working with managed care products and programs. Experience with the credentialing process, audit process, NCQA Standards and Guidelines, as well as other external accreditation standards. Experience with database, word processing, spreadsheets and Internet software. Strong organizational skills. Knowledge of basic medical terminology. Detail oriented with ability to meet set deadlines. Familiar with delegated credentialing procedures. Preferred Qualifications: 3 years# experience as Credentialing Coordinator. Knowledge of MSOW credentialing or similar software. Certifications: Applicants must complete the qualifications necessary to take the Certified Provider Credential Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) exam within 4 years of employment.
