The Urgent Care Center child life specialist is responsible for providing essential life experiences, family support # education to patients and families in the health care system. The child life specialist collaborates with other health care providers, as well as the community, to promote growth and development and facilitate positive adjustment for patients and families throughout the health care experience. Qualifications Bachelor#s degree in Child Life, Child Development or a closely related field Certified Child Life Specialist, by exam is required CPR -#BLS certification is required within 60 days of hire Cook Children#s is an EOE/AA, Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran employer.
