Full job description
We are seeking an accounting manager, experience with Commercial Construction activities.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Accounts payable and receivable.
- Receivable to include preparing and submitting applications for payment to project owners. Applicant should possess good communication tools and be able to collaborate with Project Managers and On-Site personnel. Tracking payments for these requests.
- Working with Project Managers to timely receive and verify subcontractor/vendor requests for progress payments. This step includes monitoring Notices to Owner, authorized signatures, etc.
- Knowledge of and ability to create XLS spreadsheets.
- Working with CPA, as required including audits.
- Must be organized and able to adhere strict deadlines.
- Attention to detail regarding distribution of payments (ACH or USPS) and filing (electronic and hard copy).
- This position requires an organized person to work with diverse accounting and to have good communication skills.
- Will train in the use of our Commercial Construction Software.
