What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outpatient Pharmacy Case Manager position at Conway Regional?
The Case Manager will serve to deliver exceptional customer experiences to patients and providers with an emphasis on clinical outcomes, national accreditation, and pharmaceutical excellence. The Case Manager assists patients with specialty medications through insurance verification, prior authorization support, copay and foundational assistance, and ongoing patient follow up.
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION:
This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services.
Qualifications
- Registered as a current pharmacy technician or intern in active, good standing with the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy, required (with no restrictions)
- Proof of the high school or equivalent or higher education
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- At least two years related experience, preferred
