Qualifications
A Medical Scribe will work as a personal real-time transcriptionist to the physician during medical exams; performing documentation in the EHR, gathering information for the patient's visit, and partnering with the physician to deliver the pinnacle of efficient patient care and to improve patient flow.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare field preferred
- Successful completion of Medical Assistant training program an asset
- Experience with medical terminology
- Excellent computer skills
- Minimum of 60 typed WPM preferred
- Impeccable verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent bedside manner
