What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiology Echo Tech position at Conway Regional?
Echocardiography Technologist uses Ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricle and left atrium and visualize blood flow. Assist the physician with complex ultrasound procedures.
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION:
This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services
Qualifications
Basic computer skills. Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Echocardiography program. Current BLS required. ACLS preferred. Experience in echocardiography and registered by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers preferred.
