PACS Analyst

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a Healthcare related field required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• PACS Administrator certification preferred.

Experience:

• A minimum of two (2) years’ healthcare experience working directly with picture archiving and communication systems required.
• A minimum of two (2) years of IT healthcare experience required.
• Experience with a variety of clinical imaging software systems in healthcare setting preferred.
• A minimum of two (2) years of specific Cerner experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and overall project efficiency.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with nursing colleagues, allied health professionals, physicians, department heads, and members of executive leadership required.

• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Explorer and PowerPoint required with samples presented if requested during interview.
