Investment Accounting Analyst:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Investment Accounting Analyst to join our Operations Team. This role is crucial in managing hedge funds and private equity funds on our Alternatives Platform, including valuation, cash flows, and performance reporting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong desire to learn and grow in the investment operations field.
Salary is based on experience. We are providing a starting range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and organize communications with fund managers and clients
- Assist in testing and tracking new software on the Alternatives Portal
- Enter monthly manager returns and verify valuations
- Support monthly close processes
- Manage accounts payable and monthly expense reports
- Liaise with third-party vendors (administrators, auditors, tax professionals)
- Contribute to website maintenance and updates
- Assist with other team projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Basic understanding of financial markets and investment products (preferred)
- Experience with financial software or databases (preferred)
