- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems including cash handling and reconciliation
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to maximize profitability
- Ensure compliance with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and health regulations at all times
- Lead shift management by coordinating tasks, resolving customer issues promptly, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours
- Conduct interviews for new team members, participate in hiring decisions, and support staff development through ongoing training and coaching
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service management or restaurant management within quick-service or casual dining environments
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling procedures
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing
- Demonstrated supervising experience with a focus on team management and staff training
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and health regulations
- Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and food production management
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment
- Prior experience in hospitality management or hotel/catering environments is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
