Subway Manager

Job Summary
As a Subway Manager, you will lead and inspire a dynamic team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain operational excellence in a fast-paced, quick-service restaurant environment. Your role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations, upholding food safety standards, managing inventory, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and staff. Duties

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring all food preparation and service meet company standards and safety regulations
• Manage staff schedules, conduct training sessions, and supervise team members to optimize performance and customer satisfaction
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems including cash handling and reconciliation
• Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to maximize profitability
• Ensure compliance with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and health regulations at all times
• Lead shift management by coordinating tasks, resolving customer issues promptly, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours
• Conduct interviews for new team members, participate in hiring decisions, and support staff development through ongoing training and coaching

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service management or restaurant management within quick-service or casual dining environments
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling procedures
• Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing
• Demonstrated supervising experience with a focus on team management and staff training
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and health regulations
• Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and food production management
• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment
• Prior experience in hospitality management or hotel/catering environments is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
