Ministry Function:
The Salesforce Administrator supports the ministry of Convoy of Hope by configuring, supporting, maintaining, and continual improving Salesforce and installed applications. Continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback, designing scalable best practice solutions, managing the product roadmap, and identifying areas of improvement. The Salesforce Administrator must have a good understanding of the Salesforce platform, can understand both our current setup and our business objectives, with a special focus on how to increase the effectiveness of the various fundraising efforts at Convoy of Hope.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports.
- Oversee the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our Salesforce platform.
- Utilizes strong analytical and data management skills to create Key Performance Indicator reports for the Office of the President and other reports as assigned.
- Monitors data integration and identifies and resolves problem areas using Data Modeling and Migration tools.
- Troubleshoot reports, build dashboards, transform numerical data into usable information to assist Convoy of Hope in making strategic business decisions.
- Helps architect new initiatives to be efficient in collecting data into CRM and reporting out of CRM or interface with other DB within the organization.
- Provides in-depth look at performance (ROI) of fundraising direct mail, email strategies and events.
- Documents system configurations, processes, and provide training materials for end-users and new hires
- Helps maintain health of database by offering support and best practice recommendations.
- Fulfills all other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Three years’ experience as a Salesforce Administrator or two years as a a Salesforce Administrator consultant is required. A bachelor's degree (refer to specific field if for a specific team) preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Multiple Salesforce Certifications Preferred - (System Administrator, and Sales Cloud or Non-Profit Cloud Certification). Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification also preferred.
- Strong analytical and data management skills required.
- Experience with Data Modeling and Migration tools.
- Ability to successfully multitask, efficiently and accurately completing each project within time deadlines.
- Communication skills for clear explanation of reports and data sets.
- Strong customer service skills, interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task with speed, accuracy, and efficiency. Confident and outgoing, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.
