Ministry Function
The Radio & Donor Engagement Administrative Coordinator supports the ministry of Convoy of Hope by providing administrative support and office coordination to the Senior Director, Radio & Donor Engagement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support for the Senior Director - Radio & Donor Engagement.
- Maintains team calendars and schedules.
- Prepares expense reports for the donor engagement team.
- Coordinates all travel arrangements.
- Prepares agendas and takes meeting minutes as assigned.
- Coordinates and executes logistics for donor interactions including phone calls, mailings, in person and virtual meetings, donor gifts, etc.
- Assists Radio and Donor Engagement team members with time-sensitive or high-volume projects.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Two or more years of experience in an office setting is required.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey Convoy’s work within the organization and to partners.
- Displays strong organizational skills for handling several projects at one time.
- Exhibits attention to detail and the ability to work with limited supervision.
- Shows proficiency in using PC or Mac software programs, including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrates the ability to manage information in a confidential manner.
- Attends and actively participates in COH At Home Week meetings and activities as a required responsibility to the organization and fellow team members.
- Serves as an advocate for the ministry, striving to nurture, broaden, and develop financial and other resource opportunities to support and expand organizational and program ministry.
- Positively represents the ministry of Convoy of Hope, including its mission statement and core values, to all outside constituencies.
- As a Christian organization, Convoy of Hope believes it is critical that team members embrace the organization’s religious purposes for which it exists, and not only agree with its Statement of Faith but demonstrate it in their lives on an ongoing basis.
