Job Description

Convoso is seeking a highly experienced and operationally disciplined President to partner with the CEO and founding team to lead the company through its next phase of significant scale. This executive will be responsible for translating the company's vision into focused execution, building the organizational structure needed for growth, and ensuring cross-functional alignment to drive predictable, measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

I. Strategy, Accountability, and Business Cadence

  • Operational Discipline: Establish a structured business rhythm and meeting cadence for the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure alignment, accountability, and effective planning.
  • Data-Driven Leadership: Implement a structured weekly, monthly, and quarterly business scorecard/dashboard to track revenue, retention, and operational KPIs.
    • Ensure each department has clear, measurable goals tied to business objectives.
    • Goal: Have at least 90% of executive decisions backed by measurable data insights by Q3.
  • Long-Term Strategy: Partner with the Founders to develop a clear, actionable three-year company strategy that aligns growth, revenue, and market expansion goals.

II. Go-To-Market (GTM) and Revenue Acceleration

  • Alignment & Quality: Direct the CMO and SVP of Revenue to generate a higher volume of qualified opportunities that align with Convoso’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
    • Goal: Shift the average deal size from 20 to 50 seats per closed deal.
    • Goal: Increase the top-of-funnel pipeline quality by at least 30% within six months.
  • Retention Framework: Execute a standardized customer retention framework that includes churn-risk identification and cross-functional collaboration.
    • Goal: Increase revenue retention to 115% within six months.
  • Executive Sponsorship: Serve as the executive sponsor for Convoso’s market entry into the Collections segment.

III. Product Strategy and Execution

  • ROI-Driven Roadmap: Ensure the product roadmap is ROI-driven, prioritizing features that maximize revenue impact and customer value.
    • Goal: Ensure 90% of high-impact roadmap items are executed on time and fully integrated into the go-to-market strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Work with Product and Engineering to refine the roadmap selection process, ensuring a healthy balance of short-term revenue drivers and long-term growth initiatives.

Key Attributes & Experience (Candidate Profile)

  • SaaS Leadership: Has led or played a significant role in growing a B2B SaaS company—ideally scaling from $50M up to $100M ARR.
  • Execution Minded: Must be able to translate priorities into focused action and deliver real business results, driving momentum without waiting for perfect conditions.
  • Operational Discipline: Comfortable building the necessary systems, structure, and leadership accountability to scale without overengineering or slowing down growth.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven ability to align GTM, Product, Engineering, and Operations around shared outcomes and effectively lead through competing priorities and tradeoffs.
  • Founding Team Dynamics: Must be able to successfully partner with a deeply involved founding team, aligning strong personalities while earning trust and leading forward.
  • Executive Maturity: Navigates conflict, pressure, and urgency with calm, clarity, and confidence, knowing how to both challenge and support strong leaders.
  • Cultural Fit: Demonstrates urgency, resilience, and a no-ego approach, helping to bring clarity and accountability to a fast-moving, imperfect, and evolving business.


Nice to Have: Deep experience in CCaaS or complex GTM models ; has helped lead a company through a major inflection point.
