Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service at the cash register and beverage station
- Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently while processing cash transactions with basic math accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, beverage service stations, and seating areas
- Ensure food safety standards are met during food preparation and beverage service
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
Skills
- Proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth sales processing
- Previous experience in food service or café environments with barista skills preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to perform food handling safely and adhere to food safety regulations
- Excellent time management to handle busy periods efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Experience in beverage preparation, including coffee-making techniques and drink service
