This role is ideal for an experienced welder/fabricator who takes pride in fit, finish, and accuracy, and who enjoys working in a hands-on shop environment where quality and teamwork matter.

We are looking for fabricators who can read drawings, fit parts accurately, and think through the build, not just weld pre-set parts all day.

Monday–Thursday: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Friday (as needed): 5:00 AM – 11:30 AM

You’ll be expected to:
- Work from prints and layout drawings
- Fit, tack, weld, and finish parts with minimal rework
- Use cranes, jigs, and fixtures to safely position large weldments
- Four 10-hour shifts (Monday–Thursday)
- Limited overtime: Half-day Fridays when needed
- No mandatory weekends: Saturdays are voluntary; Sundays are never scheduled
- Safety-first culture: PPE, safety boots, and prescription safety glasses provided

- Pay Range: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience)

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layout specifications
- Fit, position, align, and weld structural steel and fabricated components
- Measure and verify parts using tape measures, squares, and layout tools
- Set up and operate fabrication equipment including flame cutters, grinders, and drill presses
- Lay out material and workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications
- Tack-weld and complete weldments per drawings
- Use cranes, hoists, and fixtures to safely move and position materials
- De-burr, prep, and tag parts for the next process
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow company safety policies and attendance expectations
- Perform other fabrication-related duties as assigned
- 2 years of welding and fabrication experience
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Read a tape measure proficiently and solve fractions
- Comfortable fitting and welding parts with limited supervision
- Experience working with structural steel and fabricated components
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (heavier loads moved with crane or hi-lo)
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license required
- Enjoy hands-on fabrication and building from prints
- Take pride in accuracy, fit, and workmanship
- Are comfortable working with large weldments and cranes
- Prefer variety over repetitive production welding
- Are looking for strictly production or robotic welding
- Prefer repetitive, single-task welding roles
- Are not comfortable reading drawings or fitting parts
