Duties
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and non-profit organizations with accuracy and timeliness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Extensive experience in tax accounting with a focus on corporate taxation, individual taxes, or non-profit accounting.
- Minimum of 5 Years of this level of tax experience and experience with Ultra Tax software.
- Strong knowledge of tax law including securities law, estate planning strategies, LIHTC regulations, and regulatory compliance accounting standards such as GAAP.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms; experience with financial software is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Effective client communication skills for explaining technical concepts clearly and professionally.
