What are the responsibilities and job description for the Household Assistant position at Convert?
We're looking for one special person to support our family in our private residence with cleaning, laundry, and meal prep- with great care and intentionality.
4-5 Hrs/ day
5 Days/ week
THE ROLE
Maintain a pristine, organized living environment and workspace.
Cleaning
Dishes
Make Beds
Manage Trash
Consolidate/ Organize/ Restock Household Items
Fill Humidifiers/ Teapot/ Coffee Maker
Handle all laundry & wardrobe organization (from wash --> ready-to-wear), treating each item as a piece.
Clothing, Bedding/Linens, Towels, Rags
Hand-Wash/ Machine-Wash, Dry/Lay, Hang/Fold, Press/Steam as needed, with extra attention to delicates.
Separate "Dry-Clean only" items.
Consolidate/ organize accessories (Shoes, Hats, Belts, Scarves, etc.)
Prep "ready-to-cook" breakfast, lunch, and "grab & go" Blue Zone foods.
Chop Veggies
Cook Grains
Soak & Cook Beans/ Legumes
Hard-Boil Eggs
Make Hummus, Lentil Tomato Salad, Tuna Salad, etc.
