Roll Forming/Brake Press Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will operate large equipment, drive forklift, operate overhead cranes, and assist in various tasks related to production, assembly, and quality control. This role is essential for ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.

Duties

• Assist in the setup and operation of machinery, including heavy rolling equipment, and press brake machines.
• Support fabrication processes by using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as measuring tapes and compasses.
• Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet established standards.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Operate forklifts safely for material handling as needed.
• Engage in assembly tasks, ensuring components fit together correctly and function as intended.

Skills

• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Welding knowledge is helpful but we are willing to train.
• Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles for precise manufacturing specifications.
• Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing environments.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
• Ability to perform quality control inspections using precision measuring instruments.
