The Role
As a Supply Chain Intern at Convergix Automation, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to our end-to-end supply chain operations. You will work closely with our supply chain team to support various functions, including procurement, production, logistics, and distribution. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in optimizing processes, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager.

The Role
As a Supply Chain Intern at Convergix Automation, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to our end-to-end supply chain operations. You will work closely with our supply chain team to support various functions, including procurement, production, logistics, and distribution. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in optimizing processes, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with procurement activities, including supplier management and contract negotiation
- Supporting production planning and inventory management processes
- Assisting with logistics coordination and tracking shipments
- Analyzing supply chain data and identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and efficiency
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and projects
- Reliable transportation and an ability to travel
- Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain/Engineering/Operations/Logistics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Inquisitive/Quick Learning ability
- Knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Procurement, or similar field
- Must graduate in December 2026 or later
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel objects, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, talk and hear.
- Occasionally lifts or move up to 25 pounds.
