Overview
We are seeking two Technical Support Specialists to join a vulnerability-management–focused team providing first-line support during a surge period. This role is ideal for candidates with a few years of IT support experience, strong curiosity, and an eagerness to learn. While the team sits within the vulnerability management space, only a high-level understanding is required—training will be provided for motivated candidates.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 technical support across Windows and Mac environments
- Monitor, triage, and resolve tickets using ServiceNow
- Support end users by troubleshooting hardware, software, and access issues
- Assist with vulnerability-related tasks as directed (training provided)
- Escalate issues appropriately and follow up to ensure resolution
- Participate in occasional onsite meetings at a local People Center (DE, Richmond, McLean)
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to process improvements
Qualifications
- A few years of IT support or help desk experience
- Experience supporting Windows and Mac devices
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
- High-level understanding or interest in vulnerability management concepts
- Strong customer service, communication, and troubleshooting abilities
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
