What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oracle Health Technical Lead position at Convergenz?
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical workstream for the full lifecycle of Oracle Health Millennium and RevElate implementations.
- Architect and deploy a robust Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI), including
vendor integration, match criteria design, and data migration strategy
- Oversee integration of HL7/FHIR interfaces, device connectivity, and interoperability with legacy systems including MEDITECH
- Direct technical planning, cutover strategy, and phased deployment across acute, behavioral health, correctional, and long-term care settings.
- Manage end-user device selection, deployment, and testing across diverse facility types
- Lead structured cutover planning, including mock cutovers, dress rehearsals, and go-live command center operations
- Collaborate with Oracle Health and third-party vendors to ensure seamless
integration and performance.
- Provide technical leadership for pharmacy operations and distribution center
workflows, including high-volume refill processing
- Guide the transition from paper-based and fragmented workflows into standardized digital systems
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in large-scale EHR implementations, including at least 3 Oracle Health (Cerner) projects.
- Proven experience with Oracle Health Millennium and RevElate platforms.
- Demonstrated success in EMPI design and deployment, including experience with external EMPI vendors and internal match queue strategies
- Experience integrating and transitioning from MEDITECH environments, including interface reconciliation and data harmonization
- Deep expertise in HL7/FHIR standards, interface engines (e.g., Cloverleaf,
Rhapsody), and device integration (e.g., CareAware iBus).
- Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, including centralized distribution
centers and PharmNet workflows
- Familiarity with behavioral health and long-term care workflows and regulatory
requirements.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments (preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and enterprise architecture.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep experience with Oracle Health (Cerner), MEDITECH, and other EHR
platforms across complex, multi-entity implementations
- Proven success in leading cutover planning, mock go-lives, and dress
rehearsals in heterogeneous environments
- Experience with device walkthroughs, network readiness assessments,
and clinical validation of bedside medical devices
- Familiarity with state-operated pharmacy services, correctional health, and
behavioral health workflows.
- Certifications in PMP, HIMSS, or relevant technical domains.
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
