MEDICAL DIRECTORHarlemPay: $225,000 - $250,000Sign-on bonus of $10,000!Summary:Leads the clinical operations of the assigned practice, including provider supervision, quality oversight, regulatory compliance, and support of research and training programs. Maintains an active clinical practice with administrative and clinical time allocated based on site needs.Key ResponsibilitiesManagement & LeadershipDirectly supervise all providers assigned to the practice.Conduct bi-annual provider evaluations and annual competency assessments.Lead monthly provider meetings and participate in site management meetings.Monitor provider productivity, quality metrics, regulatory compliance, and open encounter completion.Oversee clinical performance of trainees and research programs as applicable.Collaborate with nursing, social work, and administrative leadership on staffing, performance issues, and quality/safety initiatives.Communicate site needs to regional medical directors and attend required regional and CDG meetings.Clinical ResponsibilitiesMaintain an active clinical schedule and deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care.Demonstrate strong medical knowledge, sound clinical judgment, and effective consultation practices.Provide compassionate care, maintain accurate medical records, and ensure availability to patients and staff.Professionalism & CommunicationFoster respectful, culturally sensitive relationships with patients and care teams.Uphold ethical practice, complete CME requirements, respond promptly to patient messages, and comply with organizational policies.Systems-Based Practice & Quality ImprovementUse health system resources appropriately and advocate for high-quality care.Participate in quality initiatives, apply evidence-based medicine, and support continuous quality improvement efforts.Teaching & TrainingPrecept residents, medical students, and trainees; participate in residency faculty activities as needed.QualificationsMD/DO with completion of accredited medical school and residency.NY State medical license; board eligible/board certified.Current BCLS and DEA.Strong clinical, supervisory, communication, and organizational skills.Proficiency with basic computer systems; prior supervisory experience preferred.PTO20 Vacations Days7 sick Days10 HolidaysBenefitsMedical, Vision Dental403 B Retirement PlanCME reimbursement of $1500 and 3 Days
