SummaryOur client is seeking a Demonstration Specialist to visit popular retailers to Educate, Demonstrate, Sell® to customers; maintain and improve brand visibility; educate retail team members, and drive brand performance. Hours – They anticipate 8 to 20 hours of work per week.Location – San Jose, CA, and retailers within a 40-mile radiusPay – $23 per hour as a W-2 employee.About the roleCritical parts of the jobConduct scheduled product demonstrations, in-store visits, merchandising, and comprehensive staff training on represented products.Proactively engage and educate customers during visits and product demos to drive understanding and interest.Serve as the primary professional representative for all clients, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.Cultivate and maintain strong, productive relationships with stores and retailers within the assigned territory.Complete detailed, tailored online training programs for every brand represented to ensure expert knowledge.Maintain clear communication with the management team regarding any in-field issues or updates.Complete any necessary administrative functions, such as organizing and maintaining assigned equipment.What this position will focus on:Become the Brand Authority: Master all brand products to serve as the definitive subject matter expert, building instant credibility with both customers and retailers.Maximize Customer Conversion: Deliver educational content that drives customer engagement, converts interest into purchase intent, and builds strong brand awareness.Strengthen Retail Partnerships: Proactively manage and foster relationships with key retail management and staff to ensure you are a trusted and respected source of product information on the floor.Skills, Education & AbilitiesThe Must-HavesPassionate about brand knowledge and driving sales.Strong oral and written communication skills.The ability to strike up a conversation with anyone.Being a motivated individual who can work independently, with minimal supervision.The Nice to HavesPrevious experience and knowledge of top natural brands, including natural, organic, and specialty food, beverage, bath, and body care.Qualifications1 or more years of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.The ability to stand for 4 to 6 hours at a timeThe ability to travel to and from stores with necessary equipment, which may include a portable demo table and/or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.Regular weekend availabilityAbout our clientOur client is a Tampa, FL-based Demo, Merchandising team specializing in representing top natural food brands.
