This role ensures new team members are well-trained, adhere to standards, and are equipped to provide exceptional patient care. You will lead workshops, orientation and role specific trainings while developing, and maintaining the preceptors and clinic performance within the Maine district.

Your Impact
Training And Education
- Oversee onboarding and ongoing training for non-provider clinical staff.
- Develop and deliver programs on topics such as emergency care, IV/phlebotomy, occupational health, and Basic Life Support.
- Provide training for new hires and existing team members, focusing on patient care and safety standards.
- Support preceptor development through workshops and standardized tools.
- Work with leadership to assess training needs and improve team efficiency.
- Act as a consultant to Practice Managers and preceptors to enhance education strategies.
- Contribute to the creation and enhancement of training materials and programs.
- Conduct audits to evaluate progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure clinical staff meet regulatory and safety requirements through continuing education.
- Track and address outstanding education requirements across the district.
- Lead new hire orientations and provide input on district-wide initiatives.
- Maintain strong preceptor evaluation scores and positive feedback from new hires.
- Achieve district audit scores of 85% or higher with effective education delivery.
- Maintain clinical skills with a monthly clinic shift.
- Regularly update and create educational resources to align with current needs.
- Experience: 2–4 years of clinical experience, preferably in an urgent care or similar healthcare setting.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with leadership and address workflow issues proactively.
- Leadership Abilities: Comfortable hosting orientation, preceptor workshops and certification training sessions.
- Certifications: BLS, COC, BAT, EPW certifications. IV/Phlebotomy competence is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including outlook, Adobe, Excel, and Word.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel to clinic sites in Maine regularly, as well as New Hampshire, and Maine if needed for training within the first six months.
- Patient Care Expertise: Comfort working with patients in emergent situations.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- RN licensure preferred, but we also welcome applications from RTs or MAs.
- Experience as a preceptor is a plus.
