As a Licensed Practical Nurse- LPN or Registered Nurse-RN at our facility, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to our patients and making a positive impact in their lives.
Job Summary:
We are seeking charge nurses to join our team. As a charge nurse at our facility, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including bathing, grooming, feeding, and vital sign monitoring. You will also maintain accurate records and reports, and collaborate with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am shifts
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, grooming, feeding, and vital sign monitoring
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including fluid and meal intake and output
- Administer medications
- Turn or reposition residents who are bedridden
- Monitor and report any changes in resident condition
- Collaborate with our healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, infection control and safety
Licensed Practical Nurse LPN or Registered Nurse Qualifications:
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse LPN license or Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate PointClickCare PCC software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients safely
