ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems
- Perform preventive maintenance on air conditioners, heat pumps, and gas-fired heating systems
- Repair, replace, and calibrate controls, thermostats, switches, wiring, motors, pumps, and compressors
- Install replacement parts, electrical wiring, controls, and piping as needed
- Handle refrigerants in accordance with EPA guidelines
- Participate in an on-call rotation approximately 4–6 times per year
- Promote a positive work environment and company culture
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- HVAC certification or Associate’s degree (preferred)
- 5 years of HVAC experience (including trade school preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Field-based role at commercial and industrial customer sites
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Work in mechanical rooms, rooftops, confined spaces, and at heights
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
PAY & SCHEDULE:
- $30.00 to $40.00 per hour, competitive hourly wage, based on experience
- Monday – Friday, approximately 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
