As our Wheeling team continues to support customers across a range of industrial markets, we're looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist (AP/AR) with hands-on NetSuite experience to oversee our day-to-day AP operations while supporting accounts receivable functions. In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Controller.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, solving discrepancies, and keeping financial processes organized in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Oversee invoice processing from receipt through payment, ensuring transactions are accurately coded, entered, and recorded in NetSuite.
• Match vendor invoices against purchase orders and receiving records, investigating discrepancies before invoices are approved for payment.
• Pull financial data and ERP reports into Excel to review transactions, investigate variances, and prepare additional analysis when needed.
• Coordinate vendor payments by preparing check runs and processing electronic disbursements according to established schedules.
• Review and reconcile monthly liability accounts, researching differences and maintaining accurate supporting documentation.
• Process customer deposit refunds and help maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
• Record and apply incoming customer payments, ensuring account activity and payment records remain current.
• Assist with month-end close by preparing supporting information, reviewing account activity, and completing other assigned accounting tasks.

What You'll Bring

• 1 years' experience of combined AP/AR.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Practical experience handling full-cycle AP, including three-way invoice matching.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including HLOOKUP and formulas.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies and follow through on resolving them.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
