Chemical Field Technician

Controlled Environment Products (CEP), a division of RJ Kool Company, is seeking a Chemical Field Technician Specialist to join our Kansas City team. What You Will Do:

• Drive to customer locations in a company-provided vehicle to perform scheduled service visits and deliver products
• Install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain automated chemical dispensing systems
• Program and maintain standardized production formulas for customer laundry and warewashing equipment
• Assist customers with training and proper system usage
• Partner with Senior Technicians to audit systems and ensure superior customer results
• Document deliveries, service visits, and trips using company software
• Prepare timely and detailed service reports
• Perform all job duties safely, efficiently, and professionally

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 3–4 years of technical field service experience preferred
• Military background a plus
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Proficient with laptops and tablets; experience with Word and Excel
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to apply sound reasoning and problem-solving skills daily
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (hand trucks and equipment provided for heavier items)
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures (heat in summer, cold in winter)
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Pay: $57,500.00 per year
