Responsibilities
Assist senior technicians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Support the setup and connection of HVAC components following schematics and design plans, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Help with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems, such as pipe fitting and refrigerant line connections. Learn to operate diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and refrigeration gauges to troubleshoot equipment issues. Participate in field service activities including equipment repair, property maintenance, and appliance servicing. Assist with welding and mechanical tasks necessary for system assembly or repair projects. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
No prior experience required; training will be provided to develop essential skills in HVAC installation and service. Strong interest in construction, mechanical systems, or technical trades. Basic understanding of schematics, blueprints, or HVAC design concepts is a plus. Ability to work outdoors and lift heavy equipment safely.
