Posted Salary Range: USD $85,000.00 - USD $105,000.00 /Yr.
We are seeking a skilled Service Manager to join our team. In this role you will be directly responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, and scheduling of multiple service accounts as well as the direct oversight and management of our service team and department budgets.
Responsibilities:
- Directly manage, supervise, schedule, and provide daily direction to the low voltage and suppression service & inspection team.
- Responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing scheduled and emergency repairs. The manager must ensure equipment delivery, material procurement, installation, trouble shooting, and repairs are successfully completed to the customer's expectations.
- Coordinate the project activities and communicate with the customer, dispatchers, sales team, and others to efficiently complete the work on time and on budget.
- Resolve problems through research of multiple alternatives.
- Identify out of scope requests by the contractor or customer and notify sales and management of pending changes.
- Identify and assist with suggested solutions for an efficient installation to complete scope.
- Assist customers on site with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and ensure monthly billing for the department.
- Effectively communicate department status to management.
- Complete all appropriate company paperwork as required.
- Must have excellent communications skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers.
- Must be able to read low voltage drawings, understand current NFPA standards and local/state building codes and have practical field experience/ knowledge for installation/service.
- Technical understanding and knowledge of fire life safety, fire suppression, fire sprinkler, access control, video management, intrusion detection, structured cable, nurse call and other related electronic detection solutions.
- Understand commercial building construction including repairs and scheduled maintenance required.
- High degree of self-discipline with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Must have good writing and verbal communication skills.
- Must be proficient in the use and application of industry related equipment including MS Office.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Applicants must meet requirements in relation to background and driving record.
