About the Role
This position is responsible for creating the project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing the schedule to ensure timely completion of the project. We are looking for someone with the right combination of conceptual approach, self-motivation, and technical skills necessary to provide management support. Also have the ability to prepare, manage, and interface with our Engineers and communicate with our clients.
You will be instrumental in supporting a variety of our client’s automation needs and assignments across a wide range of facilities globally. CSI is all about providing solutions to our client’s problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Negotiate and verify the completeness, accuracy, and acceptability of purchase orders and contracts
- Schedule and develop project kick-off meetings for both internal and external stakeholders
- Develop, maintain, and report on project schedule to both internal and external stakeholders utilizing Microsoft Project
- Initiate, review and maintain Open Items List for both internal and external stakeholders
- Facilitate, document, and influence engineering meetings for both internal and external stakeholders
- Understand, maintain, and report on project status and budget, and prepare bi-weekly financial reports
- Approve, track, and escalate delivery of both internal and customer supplied project material
- Facilitate regular project meetings with both internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and track engineering changes and their impact to project schedule and budget
- Facilitate and monitor build, debug, tryout, and installation activities with daily standups and issue tracking
- Ensure the flow of information to the customer and project staff are maintained throughout the life of the project
- Facilitate and document lessons learned at the close of the project
- Travel may be required up to 20%. Primarily domestic, but international travel is possible
Qualifications:
- Electrical aptitude and knowledge of acceptable practices, techniques and codes, Controls HW, Controls SW, strong Mechanical knowledge preferred
- Self-motivation with proven ability in problem solving, especially in intense situations.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Be able to maintain contact with service technicians, engineers, and customers for support
- CAPM or PMP certifications from Project Management Institute (PMI) a plus.
Education and Experience:
- 5 years of experience in project / program management in BIW, General Assembly or Powertrain applications
- Preferably a Bachelors Degree (B.A) from a four-year college or university, or 10 years of related work experience or training in the above-mentioned fields
