Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer at Control Flow Inc. in Houston, TX. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing machines and mechanical systems, utilizing 3D CAD software to create designs and simulations. Lead the initiative in research and development of new equipment to enhance and expand the product line. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting customers with new and legacy equipment. The role will also involve project management tasks, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that engineering solutions are innovative and meet safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
· Strong Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design skills with 5 years minimum experience
· Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (Inventor or SolidWorks) and techniques
· Experience in Research and Development (R&D) for engineering solutions
· Ability to manage projects and collaborate effectively across teams
· Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and fabrication practices
· Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
· Previous experience in the petroleum or oilfield equipment industry is a plus
