Job Details:
· Generate customer leads and sell various types of insurance policies to businesses and individuals on behalf of insurance companies, including automobile, general liability, workers compensation.
· Call on policyholders to deliver and explain policy, to analyze insurance program and suggest additions or changes.
· Confer with clients to obtain and provide information when claims are made on a policy.
· Contact underwriter and submit forms to obtain binder coverage.
· Customize insurance programs to suit individual customers, often covering a variety of risks.
· Calculate premiums and establish payment method.
· Ensure that policy requirements are fulfilled, including any necessary additional insured's or specialized coverage.
· Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients.
· Select company that offers type of coverage requested by client to underwrite policy.
· Interview prospective clients to obtain data about the specific types of jobs they will be doing as well as requirements of the owners of those jobs.
Requirements:
· Must have an active Property & Casualty Insurance License
· Commercial Insurance Sales Experience: 2 years
· Spanish: Required
· Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks, strong phone and email (outlook) skills, data entry experience, and customer service skills required.
· Artisan or contractor experience preferred
Work Hours: Monday - Thursday| 9:30 am – 6:30 pm Friday|8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Pay Rate: Base salary (DOE) sales commission and quarterly bonuses
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
