We are seeking a dependable Full-Time Facilities Assistant to support our Van Nuys location. This is a hands-on role that involves daily physical activity and is not limited to desk work.
The position requires travel to other company locations as needed. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
This role will also require assisting in the shipping department on an as-needed basis. Prior shipping experience is a plus, but not required.

Job Details:
The Facilities Assistant provides crucial support to the Facilities Department. This role involves managing maintenance tickets for Northern and Southern office locations, ensuring their timely resolution, and providing regular updates to staff. The Assistant will also play a key role in all major and minor relocation projects, office closures, and expansion initiatives. A significant part of the position involves serving as the primary point of contact and liaison for CSLS facilities' vendors, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC contractors. This role will also assist with a variety of facilities-related issues and projects, including scheduling preventative maintenance for assigned CSLS locations, responding to urgent maintenance calls, overseeing janitorial services, and facilitating minor repairs and furniture moving. Support for other departments will also be required as needed.
Requirements:
· Education: High School Diploma or GED
· Experience: 1-2 years
· Intermediate Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook
· Verbal and Written Communication Skills
· Bilingual Spanish a plus, not required
· Physical requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must have Valid California Driver’s License, and clean driving record to be considered for this role.
Pay Rate: $20.50 / hour potential quarterly bonuses
