Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Location: Albany, NY

Pay: Starting at $38.90 /hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift (OT as needed)

What You'll Be Doing
- Diagnose and repair Company and customer-owned heavy equipment
- Work on excavators, wheel loaders, drill rigs, crushing plants, and more
- Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and drivetrains
- Rebuild and install engines, transmissions, pumps, and components
- Perform preventative maintenance and quality repairs
- Communicate with the Service team and keep accurate service records
- Work safely, efficiently, and with pride in the finished job
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of heavy equipment repair experience (diesel, hydraulics, electrical, transmissions)
- Trade school, military, or field mechanic experience considered
- Own tools
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs and handle daily shop work
- Reliable, organized, and able to work as part of a team
Equipment You'll Work On
Excavators, wheel loaders, drills, crushing and screening plants, articulating trucks, hydraulic breakers, and road wideners - including brands like Link-Belt, Hitachi, Rammer, Rokbak, Sandvik, and Anaconda.
