Responsibilities
- Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems on construction sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to support project execution.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and other equipment safely and effectively.
- Support pipe installation, system maintenance, and repair activities following building code standards.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure work environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Participate in remodeling projects, site clean-up, and routine maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Prior construction experience or related hands-on work is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, pipe threading, welding, and mechanical principles.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety procedures related to construction work.
- Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations involved in installation tasks.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service when interacting with clients or team members.
- Commitment to following safety protocols including power tool safety and site safety standards.
- Experience with remodeling or handyman tasks is a plus; willingness to learn new skills is vital.
