We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales & Cabinet Design Representative to join our growing team. This customer-facing showroom role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers bring their ideas to life while managing the important details behind each project.
The right candidate will have hands-on experience using 2020 Design and a strong understanding of cabinet and kitchen design. You will work directly with homeowners, builders, remodelers, and designers to understand their needs, create accurate designs, recommend products, and guide projects from the initial consultation through ordering and installation.
What You’ll Do
Create Accurate Cabinet Designs
- Meet with customers to understand their space, style, budget, and project requirements.
- Create functional kitchen and bath designs using 2020 Design.
- Develop accurate layouts, elevations, renderings, and product selections.
- Review measurements, cabinet specifications, and order details carefully before submission.
- Identify potential design or installation issues before orders are placed.
Deliver an Excellent Customer Experience
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on cabinetry, countertops, and related products.
- Clearly explain designs, pricing, product options, and project timelines.
- Build trust and maintain consistent communication throughout the customer’s project.
- Respond promptly to questions and resolve issues professionally.
Drive Sales and Build Relationships
- Follow up with leads and schedule showroom consultations.
- Develop relationships with homeowners, builders, remodelers, and designers.
- Use a consultative approach to understand customer needs and close sales.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and generate repeat business.
Manage Orders and Project Details
- Prepare accurate quotes and calculate pricing, discounts, and margins.
- Enter and maintain complete customer, design, and order information in company systems.
- Track orders, communicate timelines, and coordinate with operations and installation teams.
- Maintain organized CRM and POS records for all customer interactions.
- Ensure designs, selections, pricing, and order details are accurate before moving projects forward.
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience with 2020 Design is required.
- Cabinet design experience is required.
- Knowledge of kitchen design principles, cabinet specifications, measurements, and space planning.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate designs and orders.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to balance customer service, sales follow-up, design work, and administrative responsibilities.
- Ability to calculate pricing, discounts, and margins accurately.
- A self-motivated, team-oriented approach and a genuine desire to help customers create successful projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
