In Your First 90 Days, You Will Map critical equipment, PM schedules, and parts lists.Stabilize key pumps and vacuum assets through targeted inspections, lubrication, and alignments.Establish baseline performance data and strengthen maintenance recordkeeping. What Success Looks Like at 6–12 Months Reduced unplanned downtime through disciplined PM and fast root-cause diagnosis.Well-documented work orders and clear repair histories.Improved safety compliance and machine reliability across the facility. Core Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical panels, fire safety equipment, and production machinery.Complete scheduled lubrication, filter changes, cleaning, and inspections.Troubleshoot by analyzing symptoms, sounds, and operational data; isolate faults and implement corrective actions.Disassemble and reassemble machinery; replace bearings, belts, gears, and seals; perform precision adjustments and alignments.Service pneumatic and basic electrical systems as needed.Diagnose facility issues in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other building components; execute minor repairs including leaks, bulbs, minor electrical fixes, drywall patches, and basic carpentry.Respond quickly to maintenance work orders; maintain complete maintenance records and reports.Leverage technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to plan and execute maintenance. Non-Negotiable Demonstrated mechanical background in repairing pumps and a range of industrial machinery. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent.Experience as a manufacturing mechanic or closely related role.Mechanical aptitude with blueprint and technical manual literacy.Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.Working knowledge of electrical, vacuum, and pneumatic systems.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team. Safety and Standards Strict adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements.Immediate reporting of hazards and completion of machine safety inspections. Physical Demands and Environment Lift heavy items; bend, climb, and stand for extended periods.Fine motor skills for handling small parts and tools.Industrial manufacturing setting with typical noise, dust, and grease.Position is ON SITE.
