Systems Engineering Support Specialist

Position Summary
The Systems Engineering Support Specialist supports the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) program by providing hands-on assistance across hardware, software, and systems engineering functions. This role contributes to test and integration activities, requirements development, system modeling, and hardware-systems engineering. The selected candidate will work closely with a cross-functional engineering team to support the planning, execution, and delivery of integrated systems solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support test and integration efforts, including hardware and software validation, verification, and performance testing.
- Assist in documenting, analyzing, and managing system requirements.
- Contribute to Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities, including system modeling, simulations, and design analysis.
- Provide support in hardware-systems engineering tasks, including design, integration, and troubleshooting of hardware components.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and support project objectives.
- Apply established systems engineering concepts, principles, and technical standards.
- Support ongoing professional development initiatives across the engineering team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Technology degree in Engineering or related technical field, OR 4 years of equivalent job-related experience.
- Additional 2 years of relevant experience, OR a Master’s degree.
- Understanding of systems engineering methodologies and requirements management processes.
- Familiarity with system modeling tools and MBSE practices.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic engineering environment.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Pittsfield, MA, with potential for occasional hybrid flexibility.
Security Clearance
- Department of Defense Secret clearance preferred at time of hire.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Work Schedule
- Flexible scheduling options available, including a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.
