Systems Engineer - Conventional Prompt Strike
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site
Pay Range: $48.15/hour
About The Role
Join our client’s engineering team supporting the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) program, where you’ll help deliver next-generation hardware, software, and systems solutions for national defense. As a Systems Engineer, you will contribute to complex integration, validation, and design efforts that directly impact mission readiness and system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform system validation, verification, and performance testing for hardware and software
- Document, analyze, and manage system requirements using established tools and processes
- Contribute to Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts, including modeling, simulations, and design analysis
- Support hardware design, integration, and troubleshooting activities
- Collaborate within a cross-functional engineering team to ensure successful program delivery
- Maintain compliance with systems engineering and quality standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field
- 2 years of related experience (or Master’s degree)
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Active Department of Defense Secret clearance required at time of hire
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and requirements management
- Familiarity with MBSE tools and system modeling practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Agile development experience
- Experience with system simulations, integration testing, or model-based design
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies
