About The Role

Working closely with electrical and mechanical engineers, you’ll use state-of-the-art tools to design, validate, and document complex circuit layouts that meet rigorous quality and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed layout design and documentation of printed circuit boards under direction from engineering teams
- Work from schematics, part lists, and board function requirements to create efficient, manufacturable designs
- Utilize Siemens/Mentor Graphics Xpedition toolset, including Layout, Valor, DRC Hazard Checker, Constraint Editor/Constraint Manager (CES), and Drawing Editor
- Create electronic library symbols, geometry, footprints, and related design elements
- Conduct Valor and DRC Hazard checks to ensure error-free designs that meet performance expectations
- Review drawings and documentation for correctness and adherence to engineering drafting standards
- Associate’s degree or equivalent education
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant PCB layout design experience
- Proficiency with Siemens/Mentor Graphics Xpedition tools (Layout, Valor, CES, Drawing Editor)
- Strong understanding of MIL and IPC standards
- U.S. Citizenship required due to the nature of work performed
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience designing HDI printed circuit/wiring boards for high-speed systems
- Demonstrated passion for innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Strong ownership of design quality and performance outcomes
