Financial Analyst
Location: Walled Lake, MI
Salary: $75,000 – $80,000

Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their growing team in Walled Lake, MI. This in-person role is responsible for a variety of financial and operational activities, with a focus on financial reporting, analysis, product costing, and evaluating production profitability. The Financial Analyst will be a key contributor in supporting continued company growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily reporting of bank activity
Perform month-end close processes
Prepare and present month-end financial reporting packages, including commentary for management and banking partners
Develop costing for quotations of new business opportunities
Evaluate the costing accuracy of existing business
Analyze cost trends, variances to standard costs, and impacts on gross margin
Review and communicate the profitability of production runs to management
Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience
Cost accounting experience with GAAP exposure preferred
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables) and PowerPoint
Ability to independently problem solve moderately complex issues while escalating significant roadblocks
