Job Summary:
The Plasma Table and Brake Press Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC plasma cutting machines and brake press equipment to cut and form metal components according to specifications. This role is vital to ensure precision and quality in fabricated parts used in CM Truck Beds production.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate CNC plasma table to cut metal sheets to precise dimensions and shapes.

Set up and run brake press to bend and form metal components according to blueprints or work orders.

Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and job instructions.

Load and unload materials using forklifts, cranes, or manually as needed.

Inspect cut and formed pieces to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards.

Monitor machine performance, make adjustments, and report malfunctions.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and machinery.

Assist with routine maintenance and tool changes.

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and quality control staff.

High school diploma or equivalent.

1 years of experience operating plasma tables and/or brake press machines preferred.

Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of metal fabrication processes.

Ability to read blueprints and tape measures accurately.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Forklift certification a plus.
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for long periods (8–10 hours per shift).

Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, and pulling (up to 75 lbs).

Ability to work in hot, cold, and noisy manufacturing environments.

Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required for machine operation.
