Role Overview
This position involves learning and performing a variety of tasks to support the testing of navigational, inertial measurement, and guidance units. The role requires monitoring, recording test data, and ensuring proper test procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn to perform monitoring, reading, and recording of test data for various units under testing.
- Operate automated and manual test setups by following training and documented procedures.
- Handle, mount, and test units using oscilloscopes, multimeters, calibrated hand tools, power decade boxes, and other test equipment.
- Ensure compliance with test lab standards such as 5S, FOD (Foreign Object Detection), and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety practices.
- Apply learned experience, judgment, and skills to plan and accomplish testing goals.
Qualifications
- Associate degree preferred; in lieu of a degree, at least 2 years of experience in electronics or a related field.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to test processes.
- Capacity to read and understand schematic drawings.
- Familiarity with standard test lab concepts, practices, and procedures.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
