What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mortgage Loan Processor position at Contour Mortgage Corporation?
This candidate will excel at the customer service aspect of loan processing. They will gather and process all loan documentation and ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory, and loan terms. We designate certain tasks to be fulfilled by other operation support people to free up the processor to focus on obtaining, reviewing and confirming documents to ensure the accuracy and fulfillment of underwriter conditions.
Responsibilities
- Review each loan file to verify that documents are present, accurate, and complete before underwriting.
- Manage loan process through the Encompass LOS.
- Call borrowers to review underwriter conditions.
- Review borrowers provided documentation to ensure they satisfy the underwriter's conditions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience with mortgage loan processing.
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional, and Non-QM loans.
