Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Experience in production or manufacturing environment (Preferred)
Prior experience in a lead, senior operator, or supervisory role
Knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality control
Job Summary
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk at Contour Hardening, Inc. is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments while maintaining accurate shipping and receiving records; This role supports warehouse operations by verifying, documenting, and distributing materials in a timely and efficient manner. and preparing product to be returned to vendors or delivered to customers as needed. The shift for this position is Monday-Friday 3:00PM-11:30PM with possible overtime opportunity.
Starting Rate
$18.00-$19.50/Hour
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and oversee production team members during assigned shifts
· Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards
· Assign tasks, monitor workflow, and adjust staffing as needed
· Train, coach, and support employees on equipment, processes, and procedures
· Enforce safety rules and company policies consistently
· Conduct station audits for matching quantities
· Communicate production goals, issues, and results to supervisors and managers
· Assist with troubleshooting equipment or process issues
· Support continuous improvement, 5S, and lean initiatives
Skills and Abilities Required
· Strong Leadership and team coordination skills
· Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
· Basic computer skills for reporting and tracking production data

Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift, push, maneuver 50 lbs. as required
· Comfortable working in warehouse environments (may include varying temperatures)
· Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed
