Commercial Plumbing Field Service Manager

Location: Serving the Metro Detroit Area
Continuum Services is seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing Service Manager to lead and support a team of approximately 12–15 plumbing professionals throughout Metro Detroit.
This is a highly visible, field-focused leadership position for someone who enjoys solving difficult problems, developing technicians, and keeping commercial plumbing projects and service work moving forward. You’ll spend approximately 70% of your time in the field, working alongside your team, assessing jobsite needs, and providing hands-on technical guidance.

What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 12–15 plumbing technicians.
- Spend approximately 70% of your time in the field providing hands-on support, troubleshooting problems, and assessing jobsite needs.
- Oversee commercial plumbing service work and projects from planning through completion.
- Conduct site visits and monitor work for quality, safety, code compliance, and adherence to specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and help the team find practical solutions to complex problems.
- Assist with estimating, job scoping, and coordination when needed.
- Interview, hire, train, and help build a strong plumbing team.
- Maintain clear communication with technicians, customers, coordinators, and company leadership.
- Support after-hours needs when a technician requires guidance or assistance.
What We’re Looking For
- Current Journeyman or Master Plumber license.
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and applicable plumbing codes.
- Significant commercial plumbing experience.
- Proven leadership experience, ideally five or more years leading, mentoring, or developing plumbing professionals.
- Working knowledge of estimating and job-cost considerations.
- Experience hiring, building, or expanding a skilled trades team is a plus.
- OSHA 30 certification is preferred but not required.
