Continuum Pediatric Nursing Services – the nation’s leading provider of pediatric private duty skilled nursing services – is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our Pennsylvania office.
This position will oversee cases in Cambria, Somerset, and surrounding counties. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the clinical care of medically complex children and, preferably, supervisory/management experience in a home health setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of medically complex pediatric patients.
- Visit patient homes every 45–60 days to perform assessments of both patients and staff.
- Supervise nursing staff and provide clinical support.
- Conduct nurse interviews and assist with hiring.
- Collaborate with hospital case managers on new referrals.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
What You Will Need:
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania or a compact state nursing license.
- 2 years of pediatric clinical experience (home health preferred).
- Supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.
- Successfully pass all background checks.
- Approved BLS CPR Certification.
- Acceptable I-9 documents indicating eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Copy of current TB results or Chest X-ray (if available).
- Ability to make independent nursing judgments with minimal supervision.
