Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to focus on client and agency partnerships within the broadcast, cable and CTV video advertising marketplace. This role is responsible for building strong relationships with advertising agencies, driving revenue growth, and delivering customized linear media solutions that meet client objectives. The ideal candidate has a proven record of success in broadcast/cable sales and thrives in a fast-paced, agency-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have the ability to conceptually sell an exchange based, algorithmic media solution to appropriate agency and client partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Agency Sales & Account Management
    • Develop and manage relationships with advertising agencies, acting as the primary point of contact.
    • Secure new business opportunities and grow existing accounts through creative and strategic selling.
    • Present tailored proposals and negotiate schedules, rates, and added value to maximize revenue.
    • Present and sell an exchange-based media business solution to appropriate agency and client partners.
    • Research, Prospect and Close New Business accounts

  • Client & Agency Relations
    • Build trusted partnerships with agency buyers, planners, and supervisors.
    • Conduct regular meetings and presentations to keep agencies informed of programming, inventory, and audience opportunities.
    • Serve as a consultant by providing insights on audience trends, ratings, and campaign performance.

  • Campaign Leadership/Execution
    • Responsible for overall leadership and oversight of assigned accounts, working in cooperation with internal Account Management team.
    • Confirm post-buy analysis and reporting to ensure delivery of commitments.
    • Address any discrepancies quickly to maintain credibility and long-term partnerships.

  • Market Expertise
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of broadcast and cable marketplace trends, pricing strategies, and competitive activity.
    • Provide feedback to sales leadership on market conditions and potential revenue opportunities.
    • Represent the company at industry events and agency functions.
Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • 5 years of proven experience in video media sales, preferably with a focus on agency accounts.
  • Ability to present and sell concepts and services in addition to media products.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Familiarity with ratings tools (e.g., Nielsen) and sales systems.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
