Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Outreach & Engagement Coordinator to serve as a vital link between our organization and the community. In this role you will be Identifying and engaging potential clients in the community and guiding them through the program enrollment process.
Core Responsibilities
- Relationship & Partnership Building: Establishing and nurturing strategic alliances with clinics, primary care providers, social service organizations, and local businesses to generate consistent referrals.
- Client Recruitment & Enrollment: Proactively identifying and engaging potential clients in the community and guiding them through the initial steps of the enrollment process.
- Program Promotion: Leading targeted outreach efforts, including formal presentations, attending networking events, and conducting one-on-one conversations to increase program visibility.
- Strategic Collaboration: Working closely with the PRP Director to ensure all outreach
- activities align with broader program goals and Maryland regulatory standards.
- Community Integration: Serving as a liaison to ensure participants form meaningful relationships with community-based providers and gain access to appropriate support services.
Requirements & Compensation
- Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
- Field Requirements: A valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle are standard requirements for community-based outreach.
- Salary Range: Typically ranges from $15 to $18 per hour in the Baltimore/Maryland area.
- Experience: Prior background in outreach, community organizing, or marketing within behavioral health or social services is highly valued.
- Key Skills: Requires charismatic communication, strong public speaking abilities, and the ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
