Role Description
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides one-on-one in-home ABA therapy under the supervision and ongoing training of a BCBA. This role is hands-on, collaborative, and deeply meaningful—you’ll help children build communication, social, and daily living skills that change lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions in the child’s home setting.
- Implement treatment plans designed and supervised by a BCBA.
- Collect and record accurate data on client progress.
- Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.
- Communicate professionally with families, caregivers, and supervisors.
- Maintain client confidentiality and uphold ethical standards set by the BACB.
Qualifications
- Skills in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis
- Proficiency in implementing Behavioral Interventions
- Patience, compassion, and adaptability in working with children with autism
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in Psychology, Behavior Science, or related field is a plus
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT); training may be provided for the right candidate
- CPR certification and a valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
